Varnish in Cloud Hosting
If you host your sites in a cloud hosting account with our company, you’ll be able to add Varnish with a couple of clicks of the mouse via your hosting Control Panel. The data caching platform is offered as an upgrade with all our shared hosting packages and you can choose the number of the websites that will use it and the maximum amount of system memory that will be used for the cached data. The two upgradeable features in the Control Panel’s Upgrades section are the number of instances and the amount of memory and they’re not tied directly to each other, so you can choose if you need a lot of memory for one large site or less memory for several smaller ones. You can use the full potential of Varnish if the sites use a dedicated IP address. With the hosting Control Panel, you can easily start/restart/deactivate an instance, clear the cached data independently for each website that employs the Varnish platform or see a detailed log.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
The Varnish content caching platform is part of the standard set of services that you will obtain if you choose to host your sites under a semi-dedicated server account. You can set it up for any of your sites through our avant-garde Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The default amount of system memory that the Varnish platform can use to cache content is 64 megabytes, but if you decide that you need more, you can upgrade this memory from the Upgrades section of the Control Panel. You can also upgrade the Varnish instances, i.e. the number of the Internet sites that can use this platform at the same time. As these two things aren’t tied to each other, you can use a few websites with the default amount of memory or you can order more memory in increments of 32 MB and use all of it for a single website. Varnish works best if you get a dedicated IP for the sites that utilize its power. Hepsia will provide you with an easy way of rebooting any instance. Furthermore, you’ll be able to clear the cached data with only a click.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can take advantage of Varnish with each of our VPS server plans at no additional fee, as the caching platform is pre-installed and is included by default. The one and only condition is that the VPS server must be ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, through which you will be able to activate Varnish for any of your websites with only a couple of mouse clicks. Each VPS package features a different amount of memory for caching purposes, but you’ll have at least several hundred MB, which is quite enough even for several traffic-intensive websites. Shortly after you activate the Varnish platform, it’ll start caching the content that your website visitors request, so you will notice the substantially better website load times and the less load on the VPS in no time. Varnish will allow you to use a less pricey VPS, as you won’t need that much power to warrant the correct operation of your sites even if you own traffic-heavy Internet sites with many visitors. Optimum results are achieved if the sites which use the Varnish caching platform use also a dedicated IP address.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
When you want a powerful hosting solution and you obtain any of the Linux dedicated servers that we are offering, you will be able to use the Varnish data caching platform to optimize the performance of your Internet sites at no additional fee as long as the dedicated server is ordered with our advanced Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Its easy-to-work-with graphical interface will allow you to keep track of platform processes, to delete the cached files or to reboot any instance with one click. The smallest amount of memory that the Varnish caching platform can employ to cache content is three gigabytes, which is quite enough for a vast number of traffic-hungry websites, so your server will be able to cope with an immense load while your site visitors are having a smooth web browsing experience. As your dedicated machine will include several different dedicated IPs, you will be able to make use of Varnish’s maximum capacity.
